宿舍顾问是一名37岁的全职员工.每周5个晚上, 12-month position with primary responsibility for a residence hall community of approximately 300 residents. This full time 宿舍顾问 will be responsible for Griscom Education Center residents and will have a schedule of Sunday through Thursday (3:30p-12a). The 宿舍顾问 provides supervision, leadership, and guidance for the residents. This professional is responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of 塞迪斯史蒂文斯理工学院 and The 居住生活 Office by establishing and maintaining a community environment within the residence hall while assisting students in their educational, social, 个人发展.  

The 宿舍顾问 reports directly to the Assistant Director of 居住生活 and is part of the Student Services Team. 除了, this position may have additional responsibilities in other Student Services or College-wide sponsored events.

  • Manages the operations, programs, and services for the residence hall community. 
  • Serve as a crisis responder for all emergency and/or life-threatening incidents.

  • Implements room audits regularly to validate compliance with health and safety requirements.

  • Document and address compliance violations via incident reports and mitigate further issues.
